Opening Ceremony for the Interconnecting Road to NH.91 and Long Xuyen City Bypass the Construction Project

After two years of construction with great efforts, the Interconnecting Road to NH.91 and Long Xuyen City bypass Construction Project was inaugurated on 16 June 2024 in Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province.
The project included the new construction of 15.3km Long Xuyen City bypass and a 2km section of the widening, upgrading and improving of National Highway 80. The starting point of the Project is at Km7+877.13 interconnecting to the approach road to Vam Cong Bridge from National Highway 80 to Lo Te intersection; the ending point is at Km23+561.22, at the intersection with National Highway 91 at Km65+000, in Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province.
Scale of road: 2-carriage-lane asphalted road with 12-m embankment, design speed of 80km/h (except 60km/h for 2-km NH.80), reinforced concrete (RC) and prestressed RC bridges, design load HL-93, bridge width of 12m.
The total investment cost of the Project was USD 90 million (over VND 2,100 billion) financed by ODA loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and counterpart fund from the Government of Vietnam.
The Project commenced the construction on 18 January 2022. My Thuan Project Management Unit is the Investor Representative.
