Description of the Project:
HCMC Green Transport Development Project includes 2 components:
- Component 1: Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor development: Construction of BRT corridor No.1 on the Vo Van Kiet - Mai Chi Tho Boulevard (approximately 23 km) and the associated infrastructure such as stations, pedestrian bridges, terminals, technical facility and modern management system. This component will also include investments and operation of BRT buses, as proposed to use compressed natural gas (CNG).
- Component 2: Institutional Strengthening: This component will finance institutional strengthening and capacity building activities essential to the successful implementation of BRT route, and, more broadly to improve transport and urban development planning in HCMC.
East – West boulevard was selected as the pilot BRT corridor and planned to develop BRT route as a “Green line” for HCMC’s people.
The study required to undertake topographical mapping surveys along the BRT corridor. The mapping scale is designed to cater BRT Line 1, along Vo Van Kiet - Mai Chi Tho Road and part of Hanoi Motorway in Districts 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, Binh Tan and Binh Chanh.
Services provided by Hung Nghiep:
- Topographical survey
- Topographical mapping with scale of 1/500 along BRT line 1 corridor.
- Hydrological survey along BRT corridor (Surface water and canal system along the corridor)
- Technical infrastructure survey for underground works along the alignment.
- Topographical survey report.
