Commencement Ceremony of Hoang Sa - Doc Soi Road Project

On 24 December 2023, the construction activities of Hoang Sa - Doc Soi road project were commenced in Quang Ngai province and is expected to be completed by 2027.

The total length of the Proejct is about 27km passing through 11 communes and towns of Binh Son, Son Tinh districts and Quang Ngai city. The Project has the starting point at Km1+300 interconnecting withTri Binh - Dung Quat road and ending point at K28+188 interconnecting with Hoang Sa street at Tra Khuc dam bridge intersection in Quang Ngai city.

The road is designed according to the standard of urban main street, with a design speed of 60 km/h and an embankment width of 46m. The entire route consists of 9 prestressed RC bridges, design load HL-93, especially the Bridge No. 2 crossing Tra Bong River is the largest bridge on the route, which was designed as an extradosed bridge that combined the main elements of both a prestressed box girder bridge and a cable-stayed bridge, ensuring technical and aesthetic aspects and also the architectural highlight of the route and the entire region. Hung Nghiep provided consulting services for survey, soft soil treatment and construction drawing design for the project

When completed, the route will help connect Quang Ngai city with Dung Quat Economic Zone, reduce traffic congestion on National Highway 1 and promote the socio-economic development of the Province. Total investment is about USD 141 million (equal to VND 3,500 billion).
