It is a key project in HCMC that target to (1) water drainage and flood prevention; (2) environmental improvement and urban refurbishment; (3) traffic connectivity. The project has a total length of 31.46 Km passing through 07 districts in Ho Chi Minh City with total investment cost of USD 331 million (equal to VND 8,200 billion).

Construction of Dong Nai river embankment in Bien Hoa city from Hoa An bridge to the border  of Vinh Cuu district with 5,233m in length. The crest elevation of the embankment is +3.0m and some embankment sections have elevation >+3.0m depending on the riverside road along the park.

Canal revetment construction for bank protection and anti-landslide for the left bank of Ong Lon Canal 2 upstream area, revetment length of 677m and revetment width of 10m. The Project is to improve the safety for the local residents alongside the canal and environment sanitation in the areas.

Canal revetment is 647m long. Reinforced concrete revetment structure M250 on RC pile foundation M300, dimension 30x30cm, length of 24m. Gabions are placed outside the toe of the revetment to prevent erosion and ensure the stability of revetment slope; geotextiles are placed under the gabions.
