Groundbreaking Ceremony of Ho Chi Minh City Third Ring Road Construction Project, Binh Duong Province Section

On 29 June 2023, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province held the groundbreaking ceremony for Ho Chi Minh City Third Ring Road Project, Binh Duong province section.

The total length of Ho Chi Minh City Third Ring Road Project (RR3) is 76.34 km, divided into 08 component projects (4 civil packages, 4 compensation packages) passing through 04 provinces and city including Dong Nai (11.26km), Binh Duong (11.43km),  Ho Chi Minh city (47.11km), and Long An (6.54km).

A six to eight lanes of expressway is designed with a design speed of 100Km/h. In the first stage, a four-lane expressway with a design speed of 100Km/h will be built. Hung Nghiep provided consulting services for survey, design and cost estimation for the project.

Ho Chi Minh CIty Third Ring Road (RR3) Project aims to facilitate diverting through-traffic and reducing traffic congestion in the center of HCMC. Through construction of RR3, the connectivity of cities and towns surrounding HCMC, Mekong Delta Region and the Eastern Region will also be improved, transport costs and travel times for the movement of passengers and goods in and around HCMC will be reduced.
