Description of the Project:
Bridges under Priority 1 have been seriously degraded, the bridge width is narrow, low load-bearing capacity, unsafe structure, therefore traffic capacity is decreased that causes traffic congestion and limit the operation capacity of the road.
The construction investment of the project is to meet the transport demand, improve the operation and investment effectiveness of the road, ensure the traffic safety in the road network, and contribute to the target of socio-economic development and poverty reduction.
Services provided by Hung Nghiep:
Hung Nghiep provided consulting services of 15 bridges in the provinces of Ben Tre, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Tien Giang, Binh Phuoc and Daklak. Scope of work included:
- Topographical, geological and hydrological surveys
- Traffic volume survey
- Investigation of present conditions of old bridges
- Basic design of bridges and drainage system
- Preparation of feasibility study report and total investment cost.
