Description of the Project:

Ho Chi Minh city is facing with frequent traffic congestion. To tackle this problem, Public Transport Management Center under HCMC Department of Transport undertakes a bus priority pilot project that will implement two bus routes on Dien Bien Phu Street and Vo Thi Sau Street.

The objective of the study is to identify the effectiveness of the bus priority lane as a countermeasure for traffic congestion and to improve the public transport system in Ho Chi Minh City.  

Services provided by Hung Nghiep:

• Prefeasibility study report and feasibility study report of BRT route between Binh Duong New City and Suoi Tien. Carry out topographical and traffic survey
• Undertake traffic modelling and simulation
• Propose traffic management plan and priority lanes for buses
• Traffic impact assessment and traffic demand forecast
• Prepare total investment cost.
