Description of the Project:
The total length of Ho Chi Minh City Third Ring Road Project (RR3) is 76.34 km, divided into 08 component projects passing through 04 provinces and city including Dong Nai (11.26km), Binh Duong (11.43km), Ho Chi Minh city (47.11km), and Long An (6.54km). A six to eight lanes of expressway is designed with a design speed of 100Km/h. A four-lane expressway with a design speed of 100Km/h will be built in the first stage.
The Ho Chi Minh CIty Third Ring Road (RR3) Project aims to facilitate diverting through-traffic and reducing traffic congestion in the center of HCMC. Through construction of RR3, the connectivity of cities and towns surrounding HCMC, Mekong Delta Region and the Eastern Region will also be improved, transport costs and travel times for the movement of passengers and goods in and around HCMC will be reduced.
Services provided by Hung Nghiep:
- Topographical survey; geotechnical survey; hydrological survey;
- Survey of the existing structures on the route including crossings, intersections, power transmission line, canals, culverts, horizontal and longitudinal drainage system …
- Soft soil treatment design by prefabricated vertical drain (PVD) in combination with surcharge, cement soil column method, vacuum consolidation method (VCM), geotextile.
- Prepare detailed engineering design of expressway and bridges (some big bridges including):
- Tan Buu Bridge with span layout: 39.1 + 8x40 +47 +54 +47+ 11x40 + 47 + 54 + 47+ 7x40 + 33+ 32.10 = 1,437.1m;
- Quay bridge with span layout: 30+8x35+30 = 340m;
- A flyover bridge over Ring Road 3 with span layout: 39.1+4x40+39.1= 238m).
- Prepare detailed engineering design of interchange to connect Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway with Ho Chi Minh Trung Luong Expressway, drainage system, traffic safety system, etc.
- BIM (Building Information Modelling) was applied for design and project management
- Prepare cost estimates.
- Prepare all the related reports including: survey reports, detailed design report, cost estimate report,…
