Description of the Project    :

Long  Thanh International Airport Project covers an area of ​​5,000 hectares. The runways, taxiways, aircraft parking lots, passenger terminals and auxiliary works were built in the first  stage. Long Thanh International Airport has a capacity of 25 million passengers/year and 1.2 million tons of cargo/year, including a central terminal and 3 wings, with a total floor area of ​​373,000 m2, consisting of: Check-in island; parking lot; automatic baggage counter; baggage handling systems, security screening, escalators, elevators, pedestrians, etc. The terminal was built on a 150-hectare land area, designed with 2 separate arrival and departure ternminals, including 1 ground floor and 3 floors. The project is expected to be completed in 2026. The total investment cost of the Project is about VND 109,111.742 billion (USD 4,466.89 million).

The project's objective is to build a 4F class airport under the criteria of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). It will be an important international airport of the country with orientation to become one of the international aviation transit centers of the region.

Hung Nghiep provided Consulting Services for Survey and Construction Drawing Design of Project Component 3 -  Major Works in the Airport under Long Thanh International Airport Construction Project, Stage 1:

• Geological survey and testing: Package No.7 – Consulting Services for survey and preparation of feasibility study report for auxiliary works.
• Geological survey and testing: Package No.7.5 – Consulting Services for survey and technical design of Cargo Terminal No.1 and remaining auxiliary works.
• Construction drawing design of Package No.4.8: Construction, equipment installation, preparation of construction drawing design for internal traffic works and technical infrastructure in the airport.
